THERE IS NO SONRISE KIDS 11:00 Children's Sunday School for the rest of May as we do not have a teacher for this month. Sonrise Kids will return in June. Please see Kris to volunteer to help with this important ministry of the church!
HAVE YOU TAKEN CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH TODAY? Life Line Screening will be here at St. James on Friday, June 9. Life Line offers safe, painless non-invasive preventive health screenings that are typically not a part of a routine physical. GRADUATE SUNDAY will be June 11 at all worship services. If someone in your family is graduating or has graduated from high school, college or graduate school, please call or email the church office (email@example.com) and provide the full name of the graduate, the school, degree earned with date, and future plans. Deadline for getting information in for our special insert is June 5.
VBS *HERO CENTRAL* This year's Vacation Bible School is fast approaching. Join us June 11-15, 5:30-8:15 each night, snack supper served. UPCOMING CAREGIVERS SUMMIT: Anyone who is caring or has cared for a bedridden loved one, or an individual dealing with a life-changing diagnosis should register for the upcoming Caregivers Summit. The Summit is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13 at the McKinnon Center on Gorman Street from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. You are invited to explore the different agencies' booths and listen to presentations from the ALS Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and ALZNC. FATHER'S DAY TREATS! The youth are selling "treats" for Father's Day. Yes, the mothers received carnations and the fathers will get chocolate! To have a treat dedicated in honor or memory of a father or someone else who is special in your life, please fill out the blue form located in the welcome books. The cost is $2 per person/per treat, and the deadline is June 11. Thank you for supporting the UMYF. All proceeds will go towards Pilgrimage 2017. If you have any questions, contact Betsy Ferrell.

SOUND TECHS NEEDED: We would love more volunteers to help run our sound board at 8:30 and 11:00 on Sundays. If you are available on Sundays, will pay attention to the order of worship, and will cue the microphones accordingly, we would love to talk to you! CALLING ALL YOUTH: The church volunteer desk needs your help this summer! If you are a high-schooler and have some free time this summer, please consider helping out for a day or more at the church volunteer desk. Hours needed are 9am-1pm, Monday-Thursday. Typical tasks are answering phone, greeting visitors, making copies, stocking/cleaning welcome books, and assembling bulletins. For more information, please contact Martha in the church office.
